APELDOORN - De stoomtreinen van de VSM rijden zaterdag en zondag tussen 10 en 17 uur op volle kracht. Dat gebeurt tijdens het festival Terug naar Toen.

Op de stations in Lieren en Loenen zijn veel activiteiten. Bezoekers hebben een festivalkaartje nodig om daar aan mee te mogen doen.

Het gaat wereldwijd om een van de grootste stoomtreinfestivals. De grote stoomlocomotieven en historische diesellocomotieven trekken vele reizigers- en goederentreinen op het traject Apeldoorn- Beekbergen- Loenen- Eerbeek- Dieren.

Ben er een aantal jaartjes terug geweest en vond het een leuk evenement. Elk jaar hoop ik er weer es heen te kunnen gaan maar vaak moet ik werken. Dit jaar ben ik vrij maar zit ik bij de Formule 1 in Belgie. Dus helaas. Maar ik raad het iedereen die van stoom, diesel of andere vormen van nostalgie houd aan om hier eens een kijkje te nemen.
