'Fiets in stoptrein gratis buiten de spits'

Het meenemen van de fiets in stoptreinen moet buiten de spits en in het weekend gratis worden.

Dat is een van de voorstellen die SP, PvdA en CDA doen om Nederland nog fiets- en wandelvriendelijker te maken. Nu kost een dagkaart voor de fiets bij NS 6 euro.

De drie partijen presenteren op donderdag 28 juni in Baarn hun voorstellen om het netwerk aan Nederlandse fiets- en wandelpaden beter te benutten. Zo willen ze dat er een einde komt aan de versnippering van routes waardoor fietsers en wandelaars nu vaak nog met een woud aan verschillende bordjes te maken hebben.
