Nieuw abonnement bus, tram, metro: Randstad Noord Zone

ALKMAAR - Voor de bussen, trams en metro’s in Noord-Holland wordt per 1 januari een nieuw abonnement ingevoerd. Dat gaat gepaard met een beperkte prijsverhoging.

Vanaf volgend jaar vervalt het landelijke systeem van het ’sterabonnement’ voor het stad- en streekvervoer. In plaats daarvan komen er in de verschillende regio’s aparte abonnementensystemen, met eigen regels en tarieven. Dat kan leiden tot grote veranderingen, maar in deze regio blijft het stersysteem gewoon in stand.

Het nieuwe abonnement gaat Randstad Noord Zone abonnement heten. Het is geldig in Noord-Holland, Utrecht en Almere op de lijnen van Connexxion, EBS en GVB. Dat is het gebied waarbinnen bijna alle reizigers uit deze regio reizen.
