Laatste rit Heimwee Express Oosterspoorweg

Op 8 en 9 september zal de Heimwee Express van Het Spoorwegmuseum voor de laatste keer een rit maken over de historische Oosterspoorweg.

Het spoor wordt door ProRail in november ter hoogte van de Zonstraat buiten dienst gesteld. De Muizeneus van het museum zal de laatste trein met passagiers zijn die dit stuk spoor passeert. Met de Heimwee Express rijdt Het Spoorwegmuseum ieder tweede weekend van de maand ritten met historische treinen. Voortaan zal de Heimwee Express richting Amersfoort rijden. De dagelijkse pendeltrein van Utrecht CS naar Het Spoorwegmuseum blijft gewoon rijden, station Maliebaan wordt kopstation.
