Verbouwing station en omgeving Amsterdam Zuid

AMSTERDAM - De plannen voor station Amsterdam-Zuid zijn aangepast. Extra perrons en een nieuw stationsgebouw worden later gerealiseerd. Ook de ondertunneling van de snelweg A10 is pas vier jaar later klaar.

"Door de vastgoedcrisis wordt er weinig gebouwd en hebben we ook de plannen bijgesteld. Het aantal passagiers zal pas weer groeien met de opening van de Noord-Zuidlijn. Daarom gaan we huidige vier perrons verbreden, maar extra perrons komen er voorlopig niet. Ook een nieuw stationsgebouw staat nog niet in onze planning’’, laat een woordvoerster van Prorail weten.
