Bouw spoortunnel in Bunnik

ProRail gaat de komende jaren de veiligheid van het spoor en de doorstroming van het wegverkeer bij Bunnik verbeteren.

Ingenieursbureau DHV heeft een complete constructie voor een spooronderdoorgang en toekomstige toerit voor de A12 ontworpen. Met de constructie wordt meer ruimte gecreëerd.

De bestaande spoorwegovergangen rondom Bunnik zorgen voor grote opstoppingen in het verkeer naar de A12. In het nieuwe ontwerp wordt de kruising van de doorgaande weg met de spoorlijn vervangen door twee nieuwe kruisingen. Er komt een onderdoorgang voor snel verkeer en een voor langzaam verkeer.   DHV heeft in opdracht van ProRail een verkeersstudie uitgevoerd om de wegindeling te bepalen.
