GENDRINGEN/ DOETINCHEM - De extra bussen die Arriva 's ochtends inzet op de lijn Gendringen-Doetinchem helpen niet voldoende.

Dat zegt de PvdA Oude IJsselstreek, die vorige week vragen stelde aan het college van burgemeester en wethouders over de overbelaste lijn 28. Dagelijks, aldus de PvdA, blijven reizigers bij de bushalte staan omdat de bus vol is.

Vervoersbedrijf Arriva, dat de streekbuslijn exploiteert, liet vrijdag in een reactie op de PvdA-vragen weten dat om 07.21 en 07.51 uur zogeheten 'versterkingsbussen' worden ingezet, als het reizigersaanbod groter is dan de capaciteit van de normale bus.
